| New B1 NAV Firmware and Manual Released |  | A new B1-NAV firmware version (1.11) was released. This new version adds many new useful exclusive features, like the “Thermal Gain Indicator”, “Speed to Start”, or “Glide Ratio Made Good”. This version also expands the number of user definable fields to 6. A great new exclusive feature, the “Thermal Gain Indicator”, keeps track of the altitude gain in a thermal, but more importantly also tracks altitude loss when small inversions are encountered. Using this information the pilot can decide to stay in thermal and try to find its core or leave for a new thermal.
