The Flymaster Link app may contain links to other sites or products. Flymaster Avionics Lda. is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices of other companies. When linking to another company, you should read that company’s privacy policy.

What information do we collect?

All information collected is aggregated and anonymized to protect individual users. We use this data only in aggregate form as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally, in order to improve our product.

Data such as device type, operating system, and general app usage is automatically collected when using our product and is used solely to optimize and improve usability.

Permissions to the App

The Flymaster Link app may request permission to access your device’s camera and media library. These permissions support in-app features and improve your experience. The Developer does not store this information for any usage outside the app.

Location Services and Background Location Access

The Flymaster Link app collects location data, including precise location, to provide live tracking, flight recording, and related features.

The app may collect location data in the background, even when the app is closed or not in use, if live tracking is enabled. Background location access is required to ensure continuous tracking during flights and to allow authorized users to view real-time position updates without interruption.

Location data is used solely to provide tracking and flight-related functionality within the Flymaster Link app. Location data is not used for advertising purposes and is not sold or rented to third parties.

You can enable or disable location access, including background location access, at any time through your device settings. If background location access is disabled, live tracking and automatic flight recording features may not function properly.

Flymaster Avionics Lda. implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect location data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Network access

Flymaster Link can download media and documents over Wi-Fi and mobile data. This helps ensure a seamless in-app experience.

Information we do not collect

Flymaster Avionics Lda. does not collect personal information in the Flymaster Link app beyond what is necessary to provide app functionality. Flymaster Avionics Lda. does not have access to content you create in Flymaster Link or to files you import into Flymaster Link.

What we do with the information?

Information collected is used solely to develop and improve the user experience and the product. We neither rent nor sell information we collect.

Duration Clause

Information collected by us is stored for future reference and purposes. Before data is disposed of, we may anonymize it or take other appropriate steps. Copies made for backup and business purposes may still remain in the system but will not be used by us beyond those purposes.

Data Protection

Any transmission made via the internet is done at your own risk. However, we take reasonable measures to help protect data on our side.

Data Deletion

You can opt-out of receiving various communications from us by contacting us through our contact us page. Please write to info@flymaster-avionics.com with the words Personal Data Request in the subject or body of your message, along with an explanation of what Data-Subject Right you are seeking to exercise. For your protection, we may verify your identity before responding to your request.

Email Communications

If we receive an email from you or a communication via a social network, we use that information to best serve you through the channel you used to contact Flymaster Avionics Lda.

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make changes in the way we use information, we will update this page. Users are bound by changes to the Privacy Policy when using the product or website after such changes have been posted.
